Description:
This guide outlines how to to configure your MS365 / Exchange Online tenancy to route all email through the mailRelay service. This should only be attempted if you have received confirmation that you have MS365 supported enabled within your mailRelay package, otherwise your email will fail to send.
1. Logon to the Exchange Admin Center at https://admin.cloud.microsoft/exchange
2. Expand Mail Flow, click Connectors then Add a connector
3. In Connection from select Office 365, then in Connection to set to Partner organization before clicking Next
4. Enter a name such as Route via mailRelay for the Name, verify Turn if on is enabled then click Next
5a. Change the Specify when you want to use this connector option to Only when email messages are sent to these domains
5b. Enter * then click the blue + button before clicking Next
6a. Change the routing to Route email through these smart hosts, enter relay-ms365.uksmtp.co.uk then click the + button.
6b. Click Next to proceed
7a. Ensure Always use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to secure the connection is ticked
7b. Set Connect only if the recipient's email server certificate matches this criteria to Any digital certificate, including self-signed certificates
8a. Enter a test mailbox you have access to then click the + button (Do not use the address in the example)
8b. Click the Validate button
9. Validation succesful should display, click Next then Finish to complete activation
