Description:
To create an alias, sometimes referred to as a forwarder, it is first necessary to create an Essential Email mailbox.
To add an alias to an existing mailbox:
- Logon to the Client Portal
- Click 'Services' then 'Email Hosting'
- Click the 'Essential Email' service name
- Click 'Mailboxes' then 'Edit' next to the mailbox that will be the destination
- Click 'Add new Alias Name'
- Enter the required forwarder (e.g. test123)
- Click 'Edit Mailbox'
The alias will now be listed on the mailboxes summary page.
